A new poster for Kamen Rider Gavv was released as the show’s third arc begins. The poster reveals two new forms for Gavv that are likely to be his final forms as the series enters the end stretch. Also featured on the poster are the newly added characters, President Bocca Jaldak (played by Hiroki Yasumoto) and his daughter Liselle Jaldak (Elena Kamata). The pair appear in their Granute forms primarily seen for battle, positioning them as direct primary antagonists in this third act of the show.
Liselle was shown in this week’s episode as her and Jiip Stomach met of the street of the Granute World. With Jiip mourning the loss of his twin sister Siita at the hands of Shoma (Kamen Rider Gavv), Liselle inserts herself into his world by requesting Siita’s Disguise Doll. Learning of Liselle’s relation to the President, Jiip sees an opportunity to get back at both the Stomach Inc president Lango and his half human relative Shoma by marrying into the Jaldak family and helping Liselle obtain a human form.
Next week’s episode has shown that Jiip and Liselle will arrive before Shoma and Rakia to declare war on the pair. Though Liselle and Bocca’s reasoning for entering the fight against Shoma are masked right now, Jiip is seeking to avenge his twin sister who died while saving Jiip by pushing him away from a final attack from Shoma earlier in the season.
Shoma is the youngest member of the Stomach family who was cast out due to being half human on his mother’s side. Escaping to Earth, Shoma has evaded the Stomach family since and in a battle against the twins, dealt the killing blow to Siita while lamenting their inability to have ever bonded as family.
