New Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger VS Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger Movie and Changer Announced
As Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger has come to an end, english speaking fans of the
series may have to wait until October for their next story from the
team.
The series will be
returning in a feature length movie, Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger VS
Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. The movie is set to hit Japanese
theatres in May but wont see a home media release until October of
this year.
The movie, set after
the events of the latest series sees the Boonboomger team go on an
adventure with 2023’s King-Ohger group. The story will feature the
main Boonboomger villains, the Hashiriyan’s, stealing a royal jewel
from the King-Ohger team.
Also returning for
the film is Himena Irei, last seen as Nicola Keydoor in the main
series. She first appeared in the previous Boonboomger movie before
returning briefly in the series itself to help the team via
holographic message. The jewel to be stolen will be from planet
Trickle, where she serves as queen.
Marketing material
for the new feature has also revealed a new DX King Boonboomger
Changer. This gold and black accented changer blends the aesthetics
of the King-Ohger team with the design of a Boonboomer changer.
Placing the new changer into the DX Boonboomger Changer will also
feature new sound effects.
