The anime adaptation of Red Ranger Becomes and Adventurer in Another World is almost upon us. With a release this weekend on the 12th of January, Anime and Toku fans will be wondering where they will need to be each week to keep up with the series.
Thankfully, while general tokusatsu shows can be hard to get hold of while airing, anime has become a huge market in the west, allowing Red Ranger Becomes and Adventurer in Another World to be more easily accessible to those interested in trying it out.
Crunchyroll will be releasing subtitled episodes online simultaneously with the Japanese airing, giving those interested a chance to keep up week to week without falling behind. The first episode will drop on the 12th as part of Crunchyroll’s Winter 2025 lineup, with episodes releasing every Sunday following until series end.
Red Ranger Becomes and Adventurer in Another World is an anime adaptation of a manga series of the same title. The story follows a Red Ranger named Tougo (Kizuna Red) dying in his world and being brough to a fantasy universe of magic where his ranger skills and general modus operandi are confusing to the local inhabitants.
As part of the adaptation, famous Sentai actors will be featured in the show voicing Tougo’s team. GoBuster’s Arisa Komiya (Yellow Buster) will be playing Kizuna Pink, Dekaranger’s Mika Kikuchi (DekaPink) will be in the role of Kizuna Yellow, Megaranger’s Masaya Matsukaze (Mega Blue) will be voicing Kizuna Blue and finally Hiroshi Tsuchida from Kakuranger (NinjaBlue) will be voicing Kizuna Green.
Speaking on her casting as Kizuna Yellow, Mika Kikuchi said:
Isn’t there some kind of mistake? I’ve lived as a pink for 20 years, but I, Yellow!? I can’t help but feel a sense of discomfort when reading the script or the setting materials. Even during dubbing, I always end up following Pink with my eyes and missing the voice. I’m such a born pink, so I took on the challenge of playing Yellow.

Fans the genre have seen a rise in available content over the years with series like Ultraman airing on Youtube simultaneously with English dubs along with the American Blu-Ray market seeking releases of both old and newer series like Kamen Rider Geats and Ultraman Blazar.
Red Ranger Becomes and Adventurer in Another World will air on Crunchyroll January 12th.
